The Phenomenon can take place any where within the United States within the U.S. coast or in any territory in the Atlantic or pacific oceans. According to ready.gov, storm surge is historically the leading cause of hurricane-related deaths in the United States. It is important to note that Hurricanes are not risks confined to coastal areas alone.

Businesses proactively can prepare against the damage resulting from rain, wind, water and other related causes resulting from Hurricane.

Atlantic Hurricane season: June 1- November 30.

Central Pacific Hurricane Season: June 1- November 30.
